Dear Michael,
As you move on to a new chapter, it’s not easy to say goodbye. I feel both grateful and reluctant at the same time. There are so many memories I would like to share with you, yet I don’t quite know where to begin.
Looking back on the time working with you, what I remember most is a deep sense of reassurance and trust. This came from your incredible understanding and constant support — especially in helping us navigate and embrace the differences between cultures.
During one of the darkest periods in my journey, it was you who gave me the courage and strength to keep going. That is something I will always carry with me.
I truly hope this new chapter brings you even more strength, joy, and inspiration.
And I sincerely hope that someday, somewhere, our paths will cross again.

-You were the first person to visit Hong Kong after the pandemic, even before quarantine measures were fully lifted—a gesture of trust and commitment we will always remember.
-Your office was always open—a symbol of approachability and genuine support (except during meetings 😊).
-That little “secret” you shared before I moved to Hong Kong—at that time, we were almost the only ones with long time overseas work experience, and it made the journey feel far less lonely. :) all the best and take care, Michael
